Tiffany Studio has produced about 5000 windows in 50 years history. Many of these windows have religious themes such as "Justice receives the crown of glory" (Tiffany, 1901). The theme of this window is "celebrate a fun theme of victory and resurrection against death" (Cmog.org, 2014). The depiction of Tiffany's window is more optimistic than the monument of most other 19th century stained glass that is generally focused on mourning and death (Cmog.org, 2014). Most of the stained glass windows created by Tiffany Studio are religious themes, but they created several secular windows.
The artist Louis Comfort Tiffany (1848-1933) is known for making complicated stained glass windows, but his well-known Tiffany lamp is also highly regarded. In addition to these works, Tiffany also created a variety of artworks including vases, jewelry and furniture. Since his work has been left to the White House Mark Twain to make stained glass windows for various churches, he developed himself a decorator and an architect. As a young, up-and-coming artist, Tiffany traveled overseas where he touched the arts and architecture of Rome and Byzantine. It was a bold medieval glass he met that really influenced him. Tiffany's inspiration comes from the early Christian mosaic of the 12th and 13th century French Cathedral.
Louis Comfort Tiffany is the son of Charles Ruisti, the first founder of Tiffany who took over the company in 1902, just like a window was drawn. But most importantly, Tiffany is a genius glass painter. This huge building has a height of over 2 meters, it is not an ordinary stained glass window. It combines many different techniques to give color intensity and density, and when you see it with your own eyes it is brilliant like a picture. When you look closely at flower petals, Tiffany also uses cardboard glasses to even simulate the texture of the flowers.
The series was taken with an exact duplicate of the house. Louis Comfort Tiffany stained glass windows and details such as hammer bronze fixtures are redesigned to maintain the house's appearance. Beginning in the market, the house was leased to Airbnb for 6 months in February 2016. A series of pilots that had to wait for the "very aggressive" production schedule and collaborators Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk's other show Glee to package their second season production, 13 Talk, 30 minutes shorter than planned. Finally, episode 13 was abandoned and they extended the 12th episode in ten minutes (52 minutes). The final result was broadcast on December 21, 2011.
