Looking at Thoreau’s “Solitude” Chapter Through a Metaphorical Lens

Anderson (1968) stated "to describe it as a poem," assuming that its meaning is not its logic, its language, its image structure, its symbolism, and impossible. (Page 18). Generally, as Anderson concludes, can we "discover the theme of real poetry" as a student of literature? (P. 18). The meaning of the theme, Thoreau used the entire chapter - the fifth chapter of the same name, "loneliness".

Thoreau emphasizes self-reliance, close to the nature and loneliness of Prev Page. Thoreau began chapter 4 of writing, and although we are limited to books, the most selective and classic, specific read-only written language itself is dialect and prefecture. Is this rich in itself and standard? There is no alternative or discipline to replace the need always wary.

In Walden, Thoreau answered the question of whether he felt loneliness in the hut in the forest. His answer is not to say loneliness, but to be alone. Hannah Arendt stated that the difference between solitude and loneliness is that loneliness is a condition of solitude with ourselves and that it is alienated from us in solitude. Thoreau acknowledges the following in his short loneliness. Responsive kindness is like a kind of atmosphere that keeps me. This kind of friendship with nature makes a human company boring. He does not suddenly need personal contact and is not satisfied with the lives of the solitary hermit, but he desires a more effective balance of time with society, company, and loneliness .
