Local Rotarian Honored with Paul Hellwege Guardian of Integrity Award

Gary Anderson of Knoxville Rotary Club won the Paul Hellwege Integrity Guardian Award in one of the five Toast to Rotary Interregional 6000 held in Ottumwa last Friday.

Hellwege is a former governor of Spin Zone 6000, this award recognizes people who live and reflect the ethics and integrity of their profession, business, personal life.

T. Waldman - Rotary, Williams, said that KNIA / KRLS News Anderson was chosen for this award because it showed a rotating four-person test. The annual award, which is Rotary's highest honor, is to recognize Rotary members who express their dedication to utilizing talent to support other people through volunteer activities and to help others. Up to 150 winners are elected each year, and each region contains one winner.
