Live Your Life So That You Will Have No Regrets

The retired teacher Nancy Yucius believes in life and will not regret it. This is the lesson she learned from her mother, and now Yucius fighting against her colon cancer sticks to it.

When I grew up, my mother remembered dozens of times. She was the first female pilot who got a license in her town, traveled to Europe alone for a half-year bike trip in 1936, raised three girls, and his father builds their nursing home I helped. She did everything she wanted, she lived her life and peace at the age of 88 in 2001.

Because I lived my life, I believe that I am accepting the lesson that I do not regret. I saved 1 cents and a few cents during a three month trip to Europe. I took a hot air balloon, traveled extensively, worked at my church, and as a special education teacher at the Massachusetts public school read for hundreds of children during my 23-year career.

My husband David and I have three happy and productive children. And they are currently married and are enjoying 8 grandchildren. I am very fortunate to have a husband who will support me and live my life as I think I want to live. As I went back to school to obtain my master's degree, while watching to get nervous and ride the Harley, while watching quietly crying while insisting that I will continue paragliding, I did a double job around. When he had to work, when I was hiking in the summer he worried many times about my voyage.

But I will not be worried because I will follow the affirmation of the life I found a few years ago. I believe this: "Everyone is dead, everyone is alive, everyone is at your point of view, everything that you are experiencing! Choose wisely." It is helping me now

Eight months ago, I was mistakenly diagnosed with colon cancer. Since then I have undergone surgery and several chemotherapy. According to statistics, I still have a year of life. Perhaps I am doing this, or perhaps I will have more. Anyway, I refuse to cause cancer to change my philosophy. When I feel well, I will have as much experience as I can. I visit my friends, travel, laugh, read fantastic novels, play with grandchildren, and cherish my loved ones.

I believe in my life. At some point - I hope the doctor will be much later than I expected - I feel that it is too poor to enjoy what has brought happiness to me in the past. So, I would like to do it like my mother. I will share my good life experience with my family and friends. I will taste my memory. And I say to those who hear that you believe that you should live your life so that you do not regret it.

Nancy Yucius is a retired special education teacher living in Avon, Massachusetts. She is an avid reader who recently came back from Scandinavia and Europe, a lifelong traveler. Yusius is considering her family and her church, she has been in charge for 18 years and has supported her during cancer.

I believe that everyone should enjoy life. Do you say that you are not satisfied with your lifestyle if you do not regret before you die? In retrospect, I would like to believe that you are accustomed to maximizing your possibilities every second you have. I certainly wish that what I came up when I grew was these ideas. But now is the time to remind me and stay at that moment. "Enjoying when you are young" is something that my parents often remind me to do. Now, when I became a sophomore in high school, I knew these are the times I would be happy to review. I would like to have fun with my friends and family. After all, these are memories that I am looking forward to.

The first reason I wanted to fully enjoy life is because I thought of life without regret. If you do not live your life in the way you want, you will regret a lot. Also, please never regret what you did. Obviously, there are reasons for you to do so. For example, meeting with Katie is the best I have ever met. Katie is a wonderful girl. She lives her life as she wishes. She is a very good girl, even if we are of the same age she is my role model. Katie knows everything about God, she is smart and beautiful, the great cheerleader has a good moral, and finally forgetting to say important things, she is a good friend. She also returns shirts to homeless men. Katie and her mother did a lot to help our community. They established an organization called SIS, Sisters In Service, and carried out useful activities around our town. For example, the activity is to prepare breakfast for homeless. They are very good to us. She died on 6th February 2010
