"Little things" are stories about the relationship between husband and wife. Raymond Carver uses ambiguous ways in the story to explain what is going on between married couples. After that, the baby began to cry. Because the behavior of the couple is obviously painful. My husband started to force my wife to leave his hand, her handle slid, but she again grasped the baby. My wife did the same and her husband gripped the top of the arm under the child's shoulder. The baby slid down from the two, but they tried hard and pulled in the opposite direction. When the couple picked up their children from their children's arms, it was obvious that they in some way hurt their children, so the last line of the story was:

He felt the baby slide down from the hand, and he pulled back very hard. In this way, the problem was decided. [2]

For the reader who is not familiar with his work, Raymond Carver's short story "Little Things" seems to have no literary equipment useful for writing. Fortunately, all these people are wrong. In a minimal style, Carver does not write such a work, he makes his work very effective. His work is very attractive to the reader, as most of Carver 's short stories explain that many people are likely to find themselves. - "Four women were taught by pain and sadness, love and labor in their heyday, four sisters away one hour away, only one left ..." When graffiti got angry, his face got red and his eyes shone. At the end of the story, the graffiti is covered with bright red blood.

The plot of James Hurst 's short story centers around the symbolic meaning between Scarlet Ibis and Graffiti. This is not the only symbolic meaning of using Hearst, but he shows death in red throughout the story. These two or more symbols create a short story that evokes special emotions.
