According to Withering Heights' literary critic editor Currer Bell, the novel "Wuthering Heights" may be quite rough and difficult to understand for those who do not know anything about the author. Romanticism is the first literary reaction of the industrial revolution against social change. It tries to organize the confusion of conflict between agriculture and industry lifestyle. Romanticism is evolving, and in this age all social rules are limiting and limiting who should act where they are questioned, judged and distorted. "Wuthering Heights" is a romantic novel with desperate love to explain the two cultures - neoclassical and romantic confrontation.
