List of Non-Governmental Organization Accredited to the Conference of States Parties

Note: All non-governmental organizations (ECOSOC) in the position of consultation with the Economic and Social Council are considered to be accredited by the Conference of the Parties.

The following non-governmental organizations are certified to participate in all meetings of the future CRPD Conference of the Parties.

Nongovernmental organizations in general advisory qualifications, special advisory qualifications and roster said they would like to participate in relevant international conferences convened by the United Nations and meetings of the preparatory organizations of the above meetings and said they should participate in accordance with the regulations. Other NGOs who wish to be certified can apply to the Conference Secretariat for this purpose.

Currently more than 2,000 NGOs are formally consulting with the Economic and Social Council, and the Public Relations Department has about 1,400 NGOs. More than 3,500 NGOs are officially certified in the World Summit, the recent world conference. (A) The rapid increase in the number of NGOs places great pressure on our facilities and resources. It is virtually impossible for organizations to adapt to all non-governmental organizations currently demanding participation in the UN conference.

In the United States, certification bodies are approved by two agencies, the US Department of Education (DOE), which is part of the federal government, and the Council for Higher Education Certification (CHEA), a non-governmental organization. Both agencies recognize trusted certification bodies and strive to ensure that they carry out a fair evaluation of schools based on the same standards.
