Talking on five continents is considered to be the language of the world (Ball, 1997). 1 There are over 220 million French speakers worldwide, and French is 6th after Mandarin, English, Hindi, Spanish and Arabic. It is regarded as an international reference language and is one of the UN working languages ​​and is the only language considered by the European Court of Justice. It also has an official position in 28 countries.
