Life is a journey filled with laughter and tears. In "First Woods" and "My Old Man's Saddle", David Bottoms is exploring since childhood. The bottom focuses on his old man and moves through memory and nature. In the "First Forest", Bottoms explained that during the raccoon hunting, his old man and uncle were on a truck with a steep terrain. However, in the "old man's saddle" he explained the news he remembered the saddle that he led to star in his old man. The image of the trip he uses in his poem focuses on the journey of the life of the person he loves.

Through the dark mysterious forest, Brown will meet an old man. This person symbolically represents the devil. Brown was negotiated by agreeing to accompany him on a trip. When the two men traveled, the old man told Brown that his ancestors were black magic, eventually being hypocrites. Brown was very upset after hearing the incident, but the journey continued. Then he told Brown that he discussed the evil rituals that two people from two towns were waiting for Brown so that his entire village was a devil worshiper. Brown finally attended and everyone in his village was there. Brown started terrible prayers but stopped because black clouds were formed. This can symbolically show that evil is around him and that prayer is impossible. Demon worshipers urged Brown and his wife to join them, but he kept watching heaven

Young Goodman Brown saw the lives of the people after going out into the forest to finish unknown business at midnight. He was a bit cold and I met an old man who looked like me and another citizen who had some meaning in my life. He and his wife (sarcastic conviction) were supposed to be finished as witches that can be regarded as witches for the witches of nearly 150 years of witches. The same town as before. Goodman Brown prayed for salvation from this place to heaven, and the scene disappeared.

When people speak, someone will see the way ahead: Goody Cloyse, a godly old lady who tells Goodman Brown about his doctrinal questions and answers. For such an old lady, her movements are very fast, when walking, something is probably a prayer. Goodman Brown was surprised to see she was very late in the forest. He is hidden in the forest to avoid being seen and questioned by this guy's journey. That man keeps moving forward alone. Because of the surprise and fear of Goodman Brown, Goody Krose greeted the man as a devil and then called him "my worship". A foolish guy. "Then she complained that she was stolen by" Unchanging Witch, Goody Corry "and that Cody Concely used a flying ointment made from baby fat. She asked the Devil 's arm, but he gave her a serpent' s staff. When Goodman Brown reappears, Goody Klose and the staff have left.
