Liberal News Media Bias Has a Serious Effect

Timothy Carney is a senior political columnist at Washington Examiner and a visiting researcher at American Enterprise Institute.

The prejudice of the news media is a reality. It degrades the quality of news and encourages distrust between readers and viewers. This is not good for democracy

There are many general prejudices in US press. Every news media is biased toward a persuasive story. Washington News Media supports Washington's solution. American political news, especially social problems and economic problems can not be stopped.

Conservatives were not thinking about this prejudice. This is obvious in many ways, including people's flow. For example, Bill Keller has been a columnist in the New York Times for many years, is mainly a liberal, and has become an executive editor of the Times.

This survey consistently showed that journalists and editors are standing on the left side of the US center. There are over 30 former journalists who work for the Obama administration.

Clustering the left viewpoint of the center in the newsroom causes a callback, and the reporter is not used to a conservative viewpoint.

Reporters were not used to a conservative view after all because callbacks occurred because the viewpoints on the left side of the center of the newsroom were dense. This is reflected in the daily reporting tone (eg "property rights" is surrounded by panic quotes, but "abortion rights" is not so). This problem occurred this year's election year.

The Republican argument is primarily targeted at Republican audiences, but obviously from a conservative point of view, the challenge of the CNBC Organizers for Ben Carson's ethanol licensing may be the only problem. The majority of the questions challenge candidates who do not support more government expenditure, regulations, taxes and subsidies. The problem comes from the premise of liberalism, and it is irrelevant to conservative audiences.

Conservatives are exotic species in many news rooms. The resulting distorted (and sometimes hostile) coverage gave distrust to the press properly to justify conservatives. This leads to the recognition that mainstream media needs to be conservative, this view will truly bring harmful consequences.

The most important role of our media is to examine people with power and people who want power. Dr. Carson, Mr. Donald Trump, Mr. Marcolbio, others, deserve their policy recommendations, a strict review of their past and their beliefs. Dr. Carson stated that a news organization is hunting for him, and conservative voters believe him (especially when some of them are unfair). This makes him escape from responsibility

Democracy requires reliable news media. Conservatives must trust the news media and need to better understand conservatives.

Certainly, some news media are biased against liberalism or conservatism. For example, although Fox News is biased toward a somewhat conservative direction, it can be said that MSNBC has several free prejudices. This allows you to see the story that they chose to report, "experts" who chose to interview, and even the bias they report. This does not mean that their report is fraudulent.

The prejudice that we have spoken to and talked about is about general social problems such as partisan politics and abortion in many cases. However, there is free media bias that is not receiving much attention. In this prejudice, liberal inside and outside of the media often attend conservatives, but it rarely relies on itself. This is racial prejudice. Of course, the reporter is very worried that young black people will be shot - when the shooting is a cop. Just as media officials in Missouri Ferguson murdered Michael Brown, even the press and even those media that were thousands of miles away reported the name of the deceased and (about exactly) Provide as much as possible. Information on death events.

Prejudice of free media is a part of American politics. This prejudice is effective this year, and the cards raises this prejudice everyday. Mr. Trump did not feel good intentions to the press, encouraged the press to shout tips on the news and criticize personally on the podium. The media in New York and Washington has not been very friendly to Ronald Reagan and George W. Bush, but acquired two terms. Despite the mass media reports, Republicans often win the elections at the provincial and local level - because voters are usually smart enough to determine their candidates on their own. With the growth of independent news media, voters have acquired more information sources than ever before. Not that the media point of view does not matter, but the voters seem to have greatly reduced their opinion - at least they did it on Tuesday.
