Gypsy Vanner Horse is a beautiful breed devised by the UK gypsy. This horses selectively cultivated a vision of more than half a century and created a gypsy caravan with perfect horses. In 1996, the first Gypsy Vanner Horses came to North America and founded the Gypsy Vanner Horse Society as a registry for this varieties. The name Gypsy Vanner Horse was chosen to be a gypsy "vanner horse" to bring out a colorful caravan.

There are currently four types of gypsy breeding horses in North America. Gypsy Fanamar Association (GVHS), Gypsy Cobb and Drum Horse Association (GCDHA), Gipsy Horse Racing Association (GHA), and Gipsy Racecourse Registry Bureau USA GHRA). Many of these registers' horses are similar in kind and may come from the same lineage, but the purpose of each registry category is slightly different. However, none of the horses in the registry are considered to be of good quality or poor quality.

Gypsy Fanamar Association (GVHS) was founded in 1996 under the name of agreed varieties. In November of the same year, Dennis and Cindy imported the first two Gypsy Fanamar - two ponies into North America. Within six months, Pony chased a stallion who caught Cindy's eyes from a far field. In April 1997, this stallion was renamed Cushti Bok, meaning "lucky" in Rome, and it became the first registered Gypsy Vanner Horse stallion. The following year he joined the second stallion called Gipsy King and eventually became the most famous bull in North America.
