Why did I participate in a science fair project on diamagnetism for several reasons? The purpose of my experiment is to hang two diamagnetic materials above the magnet placement. I saw many videos showing diamagnetic suspensions, and I wonder if that is possible. I also saw a couple of videos on diamagnetic levitation, I wanted to see if it was really possible, and I wanted to do my project about unfamiliar topics. I decided to use pyrolytic graphite and tantalum. They all have diamagnetism.
