About 1893, American artist Charles T. Weber drew "subway road" as a tribute to the work of the first abolitionists. Painting shows Levi Coffin Farm, a runaway slave who fled to the subway train station leader Levi Coffin, helping more than 3,000 slaves to escape from freedom. It also shows Levi Coffin standing on the station wagon, Catherine's wife Coffin and the famous abolitionist Hannah Haydock.

Levi Coffin, also known as MTR President, is one of the greatest masters of the subway's most famous stations. Levi and his wife Catherine occasionally lived in a large house called "Grand Central Station" of the Newport subway in Indiana.
