Letters to the Editor—Gas Prices, A Longtime Problem

After reading the letter from C. J. Hoffinan to the editor, I had to answer. This gas has been fixed in this county for over 30 years. After I retired, my wife and I moved here from Southern California in 1977. Back then, we were surprised that the price of natural gas was much higher than the place we moved. I asked the local TV station owner and told him that the cost here is higher than the city. I guess he is right.

A few months later, I borrowed a truck from my neighbor and picked up the sofa I bought in Sacramento. I have never drove this truck, I do not know how much I plan to use. On my way home, I stopped by Arco at Howe Avenue in Sacramento and thought it would cost $ 40. To the truck's full 00 I entered, paid in advance, and started filling the tank. After 1 minute, close the nozzle. It was 27.40 dollars. I pulled the lever again, but the fuel tank was full. I returned back to the waiter, not to the extent I thought. He said, "You are not here from here, are you not here?" I said, "I am from Amador County, the price of natural gas here is much cheaper I do not think so. "Many horses (what do you know). He said that his brother had another station in Tahoe where he can ship there for only two gallons. This is more than driving me.

So, you can see that the local owner is giving us. I will try to buy gas anywhere in Amador County. They are not fair as the owner thinks we are trapped here. What happens if everyone in the county does the same? They are truly disgraceful! Even now 40 years passed, the situation does not change.

Gas war is another problem of icos. Gas war is a lot of people who are going to buy ico at the same time and everyone is raising gasoline price to extremely high value. The higher the price of gasoline, the higher the possibility of giving priority to your money and giving priority to ico. This is a problem as ico does not send funds within the time until it reaches the limit (financing limit). In other words, you can not participate in ico. This is a problem for those who want to invest a bit in ico. This is expensive for those people, it is not worth investing in icos at all.

Price of natural gas Today's gasoline price is very high. People from all over the US just want to get natural gas at an inexpensive price, so they have to leave a few miles from home. The price of natural gas seems to continue to rise without decreasing at all. Even if the price of natural gas goes down, it will rise again. If they can not afford even gas, how can you expect people to walk around? I think that they are all money. As they lower the price of gasoline, they will make money, but more people will be happy. Iraq war. There are many protests against war. Most of us want our troops to withdraw from Iraq. We should let local people solve their own problems. The time and money spent on war are spent in other areas, such as educational funds, homelessness, economic improvement. By ending the war, we can concentrate our attention on domestic problems.
