At 1:30 AM on Thursday, I finally completed a mid-term data structure and algorithm project. I switched off the power of my laptop, removed contact lenses from my eyes, put them in a lens container, turned off the bedroom lights, and then went to bed. "BEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE, BEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!" It is 5 AM now. I struggled to blindly search the prying button of the alarm clock with my eyes open. When I pressed the snooze button, I heard Caitlin cried.

Last weekend, I went out to play tennis with my daughter Lucy (now 11 years old). She wanted for a while, and we spent a moment in the midst of a hot, sunny Seattle day we finally had no time.
