I am the parent of the band. Proud parent of the band. I was in the band years ago. I had the privilege to participate in the Spring / Westfield band in Houston, Texas. My high school was divided into two separate schools, I went to Westfield. Both Spring and Westfield bands won the Grand National Team, the final champion of the marching band. I also went to university through music scholarship. Many of my college friends are conductor of bands in Texas and other parts of the USA.

Perhaps because of my age (I will be 44 years old this summer), I think that we all learned to do things independently in the 1980s and 1990s. Lessons can be learned from other independent bands, and these lessons have resulted. If possible, create a record in a cheap way and promote it as much as possible. Regardless of budget, you can get inspiration based on it. Continue the process. again and again. Please do not sell the light. 'Get control when you are big enough to need it. When I was young, my parents asked me to take a piano lesson. I have taken piano lessons for over 10 years. At the same time I joined the band and learned how to play the flute. Now, as an adult, I am very grateful for those lessons and opportunities. It helped me in the way I did not expect in the past. I often associate songs and music with specific events and characters. I have never planned any songs or events in my mind. There are many things that make this song more important at that moment and connecting with that person, but that is not usually the case.
