Journal tip: Please write a paragraph that defined and explained "natural disaster". Discuss what students wrote

Class / group that divides the class into 3 to 4 people. Assign natural disasters to each team distributed from the board / overhead list. On their team they discuss and remember the causes and consequences of their disasters. They will stay in these teams by completing the final product

Displaying video clips Geography of Hope [14: 35 - 22: 22]. This section explains the move to the plain and explains some of the natural disasters these people face year by year. It shows that they live on less favorable conditions and finally shows what they are leaving

After watching the video, I talked about why so many people moved to the plain, talked about the difficulties people have experienced, and finally talked about the land that took thousands of people away. What are the causes of each natural disaster? (Are they all natural or the result of overpopulation or overfishing?)

Before seeing the video, please share your thoughts about the causes and consequences of natural disasters by each group and take notes from the team's brainstorming. They should add any information to the notes that may be extracted from the video or class discussion.

Traditionally, the teacher creates a curriculum plan that includes topics to be taught. My goal is to create a software system consistent with these lesson plans so that we can provide students with appropriate exercises at the right time. To support this goal, we began mapping the contents of KA Lite to the Gambian math curriculum. We browsed all the textbooks used to teach math classes and decided which topics to teach. As the theme may overlap in different academic year, understanding about the place to mention each exercise deepens. Then we turn our attention to KA Lite so that the content matches the theme and results. I also checked whether the movement was intuitive enough for the students to understand.
