Leonhard Euler, a Brief Biography

Mathematics is everywhere, and it is used for many daily activities. Many people have spent years developing the mathematics we are using today. Mathematicians are one of the most important people in the world, as they developed the theorem of human progress and ultimately helped to develop the world to today's things. Leonhard Euler is an excellent mathematician who has made many wonderful contributions to the world of mathematics. His contributions are widely used and mathematics is different without them.

Leonhard Euler was born in Basel, Switzerland on April 15, 1707. His father, Pastor Calvinist and former mathematician, planned a pastoral life for his son, and Leonhard first went along this path. He graduated from the University of Basle in 1724, where he studied theology and Hebrew. Geometry soon became his favorite theme. In his school days, John Bernoulli personally taught him to study mathematics. John was impressed with his student's abilities, and he persuaded Euler 's father to allow Leonhard to become a mathematician.

Euler, Leonhard (1707-83), whose main work was a Swiss mathematician in the field of pure mathematics, he helped in creation. Euler was born in Basel and studied at the University of Basel of Swiss mathematician Johann Bernoulli and received a master's degree at the age of 16. In 1727, Euler became a member of the Academy at the invitation of Russian Catherine Queen I. A scholar of the Academy of Sciences of St. Petersburg. He was appointed professor of physics in 1730 and appointed professor of mathematics in 1733. In 1741 he became a professor of mathematics at the Berlin Academy of Sciences with the encouragement of Prussian King Frederick. Euler returned to St. Petersburg in 1766 and was there until his death. Euler was almost completely blind in his late 20's life due to blindness, but he created many important mathematical works and hundreds of mathematics and science memoirs.

Leonhard Euler's father is Paul Euler. Paul Euler studied theology at the University of Basle, where he attended Jacob Bernoulli's lecture. In fact, Paul Euler and John Bernoulli lived in the house of Jacob Bernoulli. Paul Euler became a Protestant pastor and married Margaret Brook, a daughter of another Protestant pastor. Their son Leonhard Euler was born in Basel, but his family moved to Riehen when he was 1 and grew up in Riehen. As mentioned earlier, Paul Euler is trained in mathematics.
