Leonardo Da Vinci

Leonardo da Vinci is an Italian Renaissance painter, sculptor, architect, engineer and naturalist. He was born in Finch, Tuscany and is the son of a notary. He studied Verrocchio's paintings in Florence. He worked as an architect, military engineer, inventor, theater designer, sculptor, musician, scientist, artistic theorist and painter at Ludovic Sforza Court in Milan. Leonardo wants his painting to express light and space as well as the laws of anatomy, botany and geology.
