Left to Tell Summary

Leaving to speak is a memoir of Immaculée Ilibagiza on her suffering in genocide in Rwanda. This book was published in 2006, 12 years after the massacre of 1994, and one million people were deprived of lives in 100 days. In the first third of the memoirs, Immaculée explained her life until the massacre. She grew up in a middle-class family who emphasizes education and has three brothers. Her family is a clown.
