This course reflects the importance of strong leadership in the context of the current major public sector reforms. Based on the initial professional experience and qualifications, students will demonstrate their training and learning and will have the opportunity to contribute to their ongoing professional development (eg in the case of qualified social workers, CPCP standard HCPC). This award applies to practitioners who take on all leadership roles, or ambitious leaders in the field of social work and social care. It forms part of the employer's commitment to CPD and is also a requirement to register with professional regulatory authorities.

Relevant subjects have a standard benchmark for the first degree above level 2, but consider nonstandard entrants with appropriate social care experience and recent research evidence

This module critically explores modern issues affecting social work, social care management, and leadership. It will develop important theoretical perspectives in the areas of management and leadership and ethical discussions, knowledge of practical work based on current research results and evidence. The aim is to promote the development of effective social work and social care managers and leaders.

This module is designed to provide critical insight into the challenges in systematic understanding and practice monitoring of knowledge for social care supervisors. This module provides new insight through the monitoring and research model at the forefront of current professional practice. This module allows students to practice the necessary skills to critically understand their practice areas and to provide effective supervision in a complex and constantly changing social care environment.

Encourage students to acquire effective professional leadership and management skills and to provide good results to people using high quality services and services

Provide opportunities to educate people about theoretical models, skills, and frameworks and actually enhance leadership and management

Encourage students to demonstrate quality supervision and promote critically reflecting the whole organization

Leadership and management of social care PgCert is designed for administrators of social work and social care organizations. In this course you will benefit from expertise from senior colleagues in related fields outside the industry, working with various industry experts. The course consists of two modules - leadership and management in social work practice, leadership and management of social work and social care organization. These modules are designed to demonstrate with a more comprehensive understanding of leadership and management practices in the practice of social work.
