Law Enforcement Innovations in Reaction to The 9/11 Terrorist Attacks and the Virginia Tech Massacre

Terrorist attacks on New York City's World Trade Center Building on 11th September 2001 changed the way that federal, state and local police departments interact, organize and operate. In 1977, Flying Magazine interviewed the witnesses of 60 plane accidents and killed nine people. But they have different memories. One of the witnesses explained that the aircraft is going straight on the ground. However, the picture showed that the plane was flat and glided approximately 1000 feet at a sufficiently low angle.

Americans often talk about "front" and "back" terrorist attacks. Prior to 9/11, there were few security measures for public buildings, law enforcement agencies were hard to obtain wiretap warrants, security measures at the airport were not so strict. After the September 11 incident, the immigration control system was thoroughly reformed and banks were forced to take more responsibility to fight money laundering.

Immigration law is enforced. The 9/11 attack proved that terrorists can stay here when entering the United States using the weakness of entry to the United States and the Visa law and planning attacks. And other identification, biometric authentication of the identity, and collection of advanced information on inbound passengers makes it more difficult for potential terrorists to enter the United States. The FBI and Department of Homeland Security were able to use the immigration control violation to arrest and eliminate people suspected of being related to the terrorist group.
