Refractive keratectomy (PRK) is a laser eye surgery first introduced in 1986, 13 years ago when the FDA approved LASIK. I am receiving laser eye surgery called PRK. Currently in the United States there are two general laser treatments PRK and LASIK. The latter is actually more popular.
