Thanks to L.I.F.T, we were able to reform the language art curriculum thoroughly. The L.I.F.T. project provides a curriculum for all scholars to access grade level text and meaningful literacy issues within common core expectations. In the past three years, Ranson IB achieved and exceeded the growth of language art in all grade, and in the past two years we have ranked second in growth of 6-8 language art in the past 2 years. Thanks to the L.I.F.T project, our scholars are becoming better readers.
Language art is a term commonly used by educators to represent course areas including 4 language modes (listening, speaking, reading, writing). Language education is a particularly important field of teacher education, as listening, speaking, reading and writing all penetrate the curriculum. Teachers are responsible for teaching the students to master these four languages.
Expansion of language art is an integral part of the complete language art curriculum. Many parents who attended school at home completed their extension of language art and language art to their children. Non-family educators use the course for online tutoring, special practice, rich summer, or as a 4th grade language tutorial. Language Habits - Students learn various language customs to verbally convey ideas. In this course, we will focus on improving student 's positive listening and critical thought skills for better understanding.
