Israeli human rights organization Yesh Din requested the Israeli Supreme Court to stop exploitation of natural resources in the West Bank area of Israel. International humanitarian law prohibits occupied forces from using occupied land resources. Since 1967, Israel has benefited from the occupation of the West Bank district and earns over $ 900 million annually from quarrying. The Israel Supreme Court rejected Yesh Din's petition and thought that long-term occupiers could adapt to international law. This guardian's article is exploring ways that Israeli companies have made it possible for Indian companies to continue to use Palestinian water, minerals and land indiscriminately as a result of the court's decision. In May 2010, Egypt resumed the Rafah intersection for humanitarian affairs. Rafah is the only intersection where the Gaza Palestinians enter Egypt. However, Palestinians who introduce healthcare or are traveling for humanitarian reasons such as NGOs can not cross the border. The UN Humanitarian Affairs Adjustment Bureau stated that opening up to all civilians is "human rights". Egypt said, 'All Palestinian freedom to enter Egypt from Gaza is a joke' (IRIN)
The Palestinian Authority urged the United Nations Security Council to put pressure on Israel to prevent its spread to settlements in the West Bank. The resolution aims to encourage international assistance to the Palestinians and to put pressure on Israel to advance the peace process. This document was made when the negotiations between Israel and the Palestinians collapsed this autumn and when both sides accused the other party by leaving the negotiation table. Since the Palestinians reflect the remarks of President Obama and Secretary of State Clinton, I hope the United States will not refuse the resolution. However, the United States revealed that he hoped to resume negotiations, not political actions of the United Nations. (Los Angeles Times)
In addition to religious problems, land issues also exacerbated the conflict between Israel and Palestine. These two countries have long been involved in conflicts over land issues. Israeli settlements in the west are major land issues. The occupation of wetlands and the Gaza Strip was the main focus. Palestine wishes Israel to return all the land he conquered in the 1967 war. Israel will refuse to do so, but will continue to develop the settlement through the peace process.
Land issues in the West Bank and the Gaza Strip up until 2005 are only one of the big obstacles to the peace agreement between Israel and the Palestinians. It occupied 2,200 square miles of land in the six-day war of 1967 and since then Israel has rebuilt the old community (destroyed in 1929 and 1948) and is new for people in the Gaza and West Bank districts I built a building. Settlement living on the West Bank of the Jordan River. These settlements were expanded by Israel in the peace process where the Oslo Declaration Declaration began implementing in 1993. The United States, the UK, the European Union and the International Court of Justice declare these settlements illegal under international law. In 2005, Israel set up a unilateral liberation plan to evacuate all four residents of the Jewish settlements in the Gaza Strip and the northern part of the northern western coast, dismantling all houses. However, there is still controversy in the West Bank area.
The use of settlements by Israel conforms to all rules and norms of international law. Private property will not be exported for establishment of communities. In addition, all settlement activities are under the supervision of the Israeli Supreme Court (High Court), and all inhabitants of injured areas including Palestinian residents can appeal directly to the court. The Fourth Geneva Convention is certainly not intended to prevent individuals from living on their ancestral land or taking them away illegally. Many of the current Israeli settlements were established in the West Bank Jewish community of the previous generation (Jews and Samaria) and express the historical and religious deep ties between the Jews and the land.
