Supporters boast about the benefits of unions, but there are some disadvantages to consider. Trade unions are organizations or groups formed to represent workers. The goal of these groups is to promote the interests and needs of workers, such as wages, working hours, working conditions. The purpose of trade unions is to create collective voices for workers - their philosophy is a quantitative advantage. According to the latest data provided by the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, 10.7% or 1.4 million Americans - wages and salaries in 2017 are members.
