Labor in Society

As part of a project that is too big to understand from a particular behavior, the vision of the body suffering from labor in society, performing its simple task at seemingly infinite repetition, spreads throughout our world, without it I can not imagine. Marx believes that this division of labor will appear in society in the form of social roles and group responsibilities rather than at first sightedly similar orders in a capitalist factory organization.

In 1893 Emil Durchem wrote an article entitled "Division of Labor in Society". It influenced the progress of sociological thinking and theory. Dürkem explained how labor division helps workers to improve worker skill levels, unite people, and improve fertility. Dürkem described in detail how this establishes moral and social order among people and has further concepts of economic interests. Durkheim explained that social solidarity is roughly divided into two types. One is mechanical solidarity and the other is organic solidarity.

The core of Durkheim's theory is to maintain social moral standards through social solidarity. Unlike Marx, Marx believes that social division of labor is rooted in conflict between economic classes rather than ownership of production means. Durchem wrote two main forms of social solidarity: mechanical solidarity and organic solidarity. Mechanical solidarity is what Durkheim saw in "traditional" society. Traditional societies are inherently much smaller and are characterized by mechanical solidarity as they are not enough to maintain a highly specialized division of labor. Because the division of labor is governed by the collective responsibility and collective interests of labor, mechanical solidarity is a perception of an individual's collective traditional society.

Division of work focuses on the transformation from traditional society to modern society and the change brought about by the transformation. Traditional society can be considered to have mechanical solidarity, but modern society can be regarded as having organic solidarity. Communication, transportation, and increased interaction with other people are driving the transformation from traditional society to modern society. Anomie is a country where social norms and guidance collapse. Anomie is caused by rapid social change from division of labor and traditional society to modern society. It can lead to personal isolation, frustration and social deprivation. Durkheim noted that higher or lower than normal social integration may lead to suicide.
