PURPOSE / INTRODUCTION: In this experiment, the four desorption reactions were compared and compared under acidic (H 2 SO 4) and basic (KOC (CO 3) 3) conditions. Acid-catalyzed dehydration over 2-butanol and 1-butanol, 20 and 10 alcohols, respectively. Base-induced debromination is carried out on 2-bromobutane and 1-bromobutane; isomeric halides. The stereochemistry and regiochemistry of the four reactions were analyzed by gas chromatography (GC) to determine the product distribution (assuming that the amount of each product in the gas mixture is proportional to the area under its complementary GC peak ).

Now, as you read, there are billions of chemical reactions in your body. They occur at very high speed in cells, but when these reactions take place in vitro in the laboratory rather than in the body they occur at the rate of snails. What explains this speed difference? What is the lack of our cells, test tubes? The answer is as follows. enzyme! Enzyme is the greatest promoter of life. They create the conditions necessary for the rapid development of biochemical reactions. The generic term for chemical substances used by chemists to increase reaction rate is "catalyst". Enzymes are biocatalysts and catalyze chemical reactions occurring in vivo.

The scientific notion of this experiment is to test the relationship between reaction rate and enzyme and substrate concentration, and the influence of pH, temperature and salinity. This experiment introduces the background of this experiment and assumed the optimum environment to ignite the reaction and factors contributing to the enzymatic reaction. The method section lists the procedures for Part A and Part C. The result shows the graph of each environmental measurement and shows the analysis of each chart. Finally, the discussion discusses the validity of our hypothesis that summarizes what we have learned from the laboratory.

Discussion / conclusion: The purpose of the laboratory is to identify chemical elements based on the color of the flame produced by the element by reaction. What we do in the laboratory is to test the chemistry of flames in chemicals. We tested various elements and wrote observations. I completed my knowledge of testing chemicals and answered based on our observations.
