Most people listen to the word "pop" and assume genres in a traditional sense. Considering the top of 40 singers, TV broadcasts such as Rihanna and One-Way are similar (Lesley, June 2013). Therefore, when people hear the word "K pop", there is usually a misunderstanding that it means the same music, but what they often misunderstand is just the same music in Korean. In fact, K-pop is more than just pop music. The name "K-pop" means pop music.

In addition to music, K Pop has become a popular subculture among Asian teenagers and young people, evoked a broad interest in Korean top idol groups and singers' fashion and style. The debut of the So-Taji & Boys group in 1992 was the turning point of Korean pop music. The band has taken elements of popular music genres such as Lap Rock and Techno in the United States and has been very successful in Korea. Hip - hop duo like Deux also became popular in the early 1990 's.

Pop, Experience, Jazz, Gospel, Latin, Classical, Hip Hop, Rhythm & Blues, Electronic Dance, Reggae, Country, Folk, Rock, and its traditional Korean music roots. In contemporary Korean pop music scene, pop, hip hop, rhythm and blues, rock, folk, and electronic dance director occupy the mainstream, but I still love Korean old men. K pop stars and groups are well known in Asia and enjoy millions of dollars in international export earnings
