This article outlines some of the work done in the field of knowledge-based strategic planning systems. Since 1985, through the establishment of the Knowledge Enterprise Management System Center, the project has focused on the development of the Knowledge Base System (KBS) based on these models. In addition, this project includes the development of various computer and non-computer methods and technologies to support administrators and individuals in decision-making modeling and KBS development, both technically and technologically. In this article I will cover a part of the project, a comprehensive groupware useful for strategic planning. The tasks described here are part of ongoing research projects. In addition to the two interviewees, all the other respondents stated that their work on the KBS development project led to a significant improvement in their work knowledge or performance.
