Knowledge is one of the most important elements in maintaining a peaceful and free society. Knowledge allows society to make plans for the future while learning from past mistakes. Because they do not use the wisdom gained from the past, many great countries are involved in war and confusion. People use their own learning courses instead of weapons to solve their problems, and emphasize the use of their intelligence can prevent many people's problems. The Roman Empire is a good example of how many problems are allowed to grow and get worse before trying to check.
Peace education is not just "to learn peace and war" but also a process. Part of the process gained knowledge of peace and war, but peace education also included learning to live peacefully as an active citizen in a democratic society. Most importantly, peace education is to bring students into a process as important as student content and skills. Therefore, peace education emphasizes learning based on activities, and the level of interaction among students is high. It encourages self-reflection and participation of students in the selection and planning of their learning activities. Decision making to reach agreement and student participation in negotiations with others is an important part of the peace education process. Peace education is not just about teaching students what they should believe and how to act
I believe that I will explore the opportunity to hone my knowledge of the theme of peace and security, transcending myself when studying adolescents - because I have no comprehensive knowledge of peace and security. Working with the United Nations Drug Offender Office to explore the opportunities and ways to open boundaries, learn more about peace and security, until they have organized a comprehensive training on promoting women's peace, security and disarmament against the UNU started. A month trained in Addis Ababa 's Ethiopia. I met 40 young women from more than 20 African countries experienced in peace and security fields. After completing the training in Tanzania, I will provide feedback and share the information gained through social media channels, blogs and media.
