Even though he was the youngest, he still became King of England when he was 9 years old. Elizabeth 's sister was named Mary. My older sister Mary became Queen of England when Elizabeth passed away in 1547 when Elizabeth was 13 years old. She died 11 years after she became a queen, after which Elizabeth took over
