Key Successes of the Civil Rights Movement

The civil rights movement has had many successes, and the Linda Brown case is one of many success stories. Linda Brown is a young black American, and even if there is a local school on the street, we have to walk 20 blocks from the house to the school. Her father decided to put the Board of Education on trial, but he lost. Oliver Brown (father of Linda) appealed with the help of the National Association for the progress of colored people. Finally, Brown and Topeka Board of Education have reached the US Supreme Court Secretary, Earl Warren, to declare the constitution "color blind".
