The title of this book is somewhat misleading: the better one is "Leadership Research: Key Concepts". This book is in alphabetical order and has a list of works by about fifty authors edited by the director of the Leadership Research Center of Exeter University and researchers. You are not studying leadership, you often learn the key points of academic approach to leadership research. For example, the "measurement" item does not address the use of measurements in leaders or organizations, but rather the metrics must meet the statistics and other formal standards led by the American Psychological Association. Many articles assume that you are familiar with academic literature. For example, the four aspects (what?) Described in Kirkpatrick's 1994 paper have "existed for many years" (apparently since this book was published in 2008) (@ 102)
