In September 2016, the special collection and archive department of the Kent State University Library started a project funded by the National Archives of Records of the National Archives and digitized the data on shooting operations and reactions. 1976: Kent State University: J. Gregory Payne Requiem. The first show was in 1976. From the point of view of Bill Schroder's mother, Florence, this show took place on over 150 university campuses in the US and Europe during the 1970s, 1980s and 1990s. It was the last time at Emerson University in 2007. It is also the cornerstone of NBC's award-winning documentary "Kent State University" in 1981.
