Onora O'Neill simplifies Kant's moral theory by "self-terminating formula". Using someone simply means "to incorporate them into an action plan they can not in principle agree" (O'Neill 412). The purpose of dealing people is to respect individuals as "reasonable people with their own motto" (O'Neill 412). After understandable interpretation of Kant's ethics O'Neill showed the advantage of cantism over utilitarianism.

Kant's absolute leadership continues to occupy an important position in today's moral philosophy, and his most lasting contribution is the law of nature and the expression of his own goals. This is a unique way of looking at the concept of universalization: to develop maxims and to find that contradiction in generalization. The other is a unique way to put morality on the essential value and dignity of man. In the last section we will consider a few of these obstinate problems.

Kant stated that each expression "combines two of them" initially indicates that the expression is semantically equivalent, or that at least one can be analyzed from another expression. For example, some of Kant's critics point out as follows. I should always regard humanity as the purpose itself. ; Sensen 2011). But it still doubts whether this strategy captures the full meaning of human formulas or explains all the responsibilities Kant argues (Wood 1999, 2007; Cureton 2013 ).
