Reason 06: Because hiking is exciting! This picture was taken at Kalaou Trail in Kauai. 11 miles (22 miles) from Key Beach to Calaourau Beach. It was impossible to do it in one day so we did not go to Kalalau beach forever (maybe one day!), But hiking to the Hanakapi'ai waterfall is essential. Please be careful of a steep cliff

Our trip to Calalaw certainly did not go the way we wanted. The unpredictable heavy rain has put our plan into a dazzling dilemma. Damage to the Carrau trail takes several months to resolve. Who knows when the road to the trail will be fully functional? The painful damage I saw in town is pain.
