The idea that minors or adolescents are tried as adults has been a very controversial issue in the last 30 years or so. When a minor commits a very heinous crime, many think that this young man should be tried like an adult and make a good judgment. Even those who think that these teenagers should go to adult prisons. Teenagers are tried as adults - who should be charged? In today's society, no one is anyone, what is this? Juvenile offenders face a double-edged sword. They are not only charged with juvenile court charges. They are now condemned to be adults. The boys fee for adults caused many different views. When should I say enough? Violent crimes committed by young people are becoming increasingly serious epidemics. Children today are exposed to violence, even popular songs, television programs, even computer games. A society where parents and children with children who can use guns live play a role in destroying our young people. Juvenile offenders are facing severe punishment now. Should society be responsible for this and try to revive the young people, or should society punish the young people and accuse them as adults?
The US has sentenced many young people to death for more than any other country in the world (Justice, 2009), and our teenagers have been sentenced to a 10 year old sentence. These are teenagers trying on adults, changing and changing rapidly. The younger generation should be our future leader.
