Juvenile Gun Violence

• Survey on youth participation in the illegal gun market. The two-year project began in November 1994 and is currently testing the applicability of juvenile gun violence by tackling problem solving control focusing on destroying firearm illegal markets. This project will help Boston police analyze the juvenile gun issue in the city and design interventions. Efforts will be made to destroy the local black market of firearms and to reduce the fears that young people may possibly possibly possess firearms and carry around. This research will conduct process and impact assessment and will disseminate information on the acquisition and use of juvenile guns.

The juvenile justice system of the country is at the intersection. We are faced with a disturbing increase in violent crime by US boys, and a sharp increase in abuse, neglect and gun violence by young people in this country. Given this new crisis and its complexity, we can no longer focus on individual fields. Every member of the community including relevant policies and academic experts must participate in order to seriously address the problem of juvenile crime rate occurring throughout the United States, especially Youth Gun violence. Collaboration and comprehensive planning are necessary to reduce violence and build a healthy and secure community. Generally, you must do a two-sided attack against juvenile delinquency and juvenile gun violence. What is essential for this fight is not only the commitment to prevention and early intervention, but also emphasis on law enforcement agencies and comprehensive assessment systems.
