For my research paper, I decided to observe the morning meeting at the North Justice Center in Fullerton, California. The purpose of my entry is to observe the process of criminal trials. Because this is the most interesting and given the opportunity to witness all the functional parts of our judicial system. In the United States, the justice system has two aspects for juvenile offenders and adults. The adult judicial system is known as the criminal justice system. This is a system whereby criminals are arrested, tried, declared and imprisoned. The juvenile justice system applies to children under the age of 18. The origin of the juvenile system existed as early as 1925. For those who are pursuing criminal justice professions and criminal justice degrees, it is important to understand the differences between adolescence and the criminal justice system. The laws that govern minors vary from country to country, but there are some things that are generally different from the criminal system.
