Joy Luck Club

Designed by Amy Tan, Joy Luck Club is a depiction of four Chinese women living in the USA and their children. This book explains the conflicting culture between the United States and China and how men treat women. In America, I think their role is male or female. Cultures in each country form acceptable treatments according to individual gender. There is a big difference between different cultures. These differences are manifested in labor, unique tasks to be performed at home, and privileges obtained in society.
