Keehap, I cried because I made a strong back hook kick. My big voice is big enough to attract spectators' cheers at the practice area of White Tiger Taekwondo. If I can scream like this during the black belt test in November, I know that I can draw attention of the jury. If you do a bit more training, you will be ready to make Taekwondo's dream of becoming a black belt.
I am currently Bodon Belt. I will test my black belt in November this year. I have practiced and trained at the Taekwondo school in Cary, North Carolina. This is a wonderful school with many developing students. I have been training for over 3 years here. As a Bodon belt, there are many responsibilities, including being a roll model for low level belts and encouraging to work harder. My school became me not only to better learn martial arts but also to become a better person. I am motivating from the first day!
Martial arts taught me a lot of value. I learned that small things like focus can improve your performance. There are three types of focus: eye focus, body focus, mind focus. The focus of each step must be completely concentrated. It was difficult to concentrate before starting Taekwondo, but now I will not be distracted by concentrating on something. Whether it is an exam or a parent, I can concentrate on it.
Another principle of martial arts taught to me is self restraint. Self-control is the ability to control your behavior and feelings. In order to succeed at Taekwondo you need to control yourself. After I learned to control myself, I was able to do my best to escape from the target 1 inch away. If I lose the game, I will not be angry, even if that is difficult, I will respect everyone. I can control my mood and control my life. Feels good!
Overall, Taekwondo has a big impact on my life. I know what I can think of whatever I am thinking. Well, when I tested my black belt in November, I know that I will be ready for all focus, self-discipline and martial arts to teach me other wonderful value It was. Taekwondo makes me a better person. Taekwondo is not about learning to defeat people, but about learning precious life lessons. Taekwondo has shown a perfect example for me!
Fighting sports is not only a means of self defense but also a way of life. This is a way of thinking that develops in the process of becoming a black belt. Most of the students who started this journey are trying to accept the black belt. When they understand that the black belt is not what you earn, you mean that they truly understand the meaning of the black belt.
To understand the meaning of the black belt, you first need to understand the process of becoming a black belt. This is a long and difficult journey, sometimes very beneficial. In most schools, each student goes through a belt with several colored ladders to a black belt. By striving hard to achieve each new level, students learn to set goals and develop disciplines, and focus on many other attributes of making black stripes. Developing this way of thinking does not happen overnight. This is a change that requires years of effort and dedication.
Some people may see the black belt as a final result, reach the goal, or complete the journey. I think black belt is a big achievement, but I think that it is not the end of the trip. It's just the beginning for me. Personally, getting a black belt means having learned the fundamentals of art effectively, and I am ready to start a bigger journey. I can be limited only by my beliefs, and I have learned to believe more in myself. When thinking about the black belt and what it represents, I think that it is more necessary to overcome this spiritual challenge, so thinking of perseverance, discipline and indomitable spirit (needless to say a little blood, sweat, and tears) The body needs exercise. I respect those who walk in front of me and get a black belt. I am truly impressed by those who are truly keeping their training and promising to teach others to do the same.
The mastery of the black belt and ordinary people is a synonym, and the practitioner considers it to be the symbol of the beginning of a real journey. Most people reach the black belt (or equivalent) level just because they are the way set by the organization. Students are often encouraged even to check the black belt, and the students do not question why they want to take an obi. On the other hand, we did this: we ask ourselves and other practitioners why people should take a black strip. This is the reason we found out.
