Abstract: The purpose of this paper is to analyze the statistical characteristics of the Greek government's deficit and debt data from 1991 to 2012, edited since 1994 and reported to the European Commission. Based on the continuous revision of the report data, the reliability of the budget statistics was evaluated and several reliability indicators were obtained. Based on the modified standard deviation between the initial result and the final data, Greece reported the least reliable and insufficient data ... and its modification has the greatest variance. This document also shows that data on the annual fluctuation of debt is not as reliable as red. Regardless of the reasons for these discoveries, we all think that they cause problems for data users.
