Joshua: seizing the promised land

The country of Israel has followed Moses for 40 years. God rescued them from Egyptian slavery, trained them in the wilderness, brought them to the promised fathers of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. But Moses did not die, and his assistant Joshua was appointed to guide people to the land of Canaan promised.

Joshua's book is divided into two simple parts: conquering the land and resetting the land. The twelve tribes of Israel were condemned to defend the commandments of God, to expel evil inhabitants of the land, and to separate the land as heritage. Joshua oversaw the process involving the miraculous intersection of Jordan (Jos 3), the battle of Jericho (Jose 6), and the rest of the sun and moon (Ho 10: 12-14)

This book starts with God and calls Joshua strong, courageous, obedient (Joshua 1: 6-7). Joshua was obedient, and people were faithful to God under the guidance of Joshua. This book ends with the death of Joshua. Joshua gladly served God in the land he gave them.

"Be strong and courageous, ye will give them the land they have and give them them" (Joshua 1: 6)

The book of Joshua shows the god who has made promises to Abraham. The land of Canaan belongs to his descendants. After more than 500 years, the Israeli children finally settled the land and incorporated it into the land.

This book also marks the end of the Israeli era. After the deaths of Moses and Joshua, there were no leaders nominated by other than God himself in the country. Israel entered the era of the judge, when God invited leaders regularly to take Israel away from her enemies

Joshua recorded the achievements of the Israelites from Egypt to Egypt. For God fulfilled his promises to Moses' successor Joshua and led to the promised land. Joshua (Hebrew yes faire) was the successor of Moses, who led the Israelites to the promised land. The Bible explains Joshua as a loyal student, a saint, and an outstanding military commander. Joshua led his people in every way to advise them to serve G-d and maintain Torah while leading them to the army's conquest. He was born in Egypt in 2406 (1355 BC) and led his people for 28 years until death in 2516 (1245 BC). His story is recorded in Joshua. Joshua son of Nun came from the tribe of Ephraim. His name was originally Hoshea (Hosea), but changed by Moses to Mohoshua (Joshua). He was a faithful waiter of Moses, and the Bible proved that he never left Moses' tent. He waited for Moses to communicate with G - d at the foot of Mount Sinai, and devoted himself to his husband with his heart.

When God calls Joshua to lead his people to the promised land, Joshua can answer "I can not" (Joshua 1). Moses died and 2 million people were not experienced. But Joshua remembers what God can do for magic. He trusted the Word of God, believed that God blessed them, and chose to obey the blessing. Joshua is confident, because it announced that God gave him land to them, it is impossible to give, you must conquer, you prove you deserve it There is no doubt. Transactions have already been done.
