Jordan

Jordan, Kingdom of Hashimit. Jordan, the Kingdom of Hashimit (Arabic Al Mamlakah al Urdunniyah al Hashimiyah), Syria in the northwest, Iraq and Saudi Arabia in the eastern part, Saudi Arabia and the West Bank in the south, Israel and the West Bank Jordan region occupied by Israel since 1967. The Jordan region is 89,556 square kilometers (34,578 square miles). Amman is the capital and largest city of Jordan.

Born in Houston, Texas on February 21, 1936, Barbara Charlene Jordan is one of the three daughters of Benjamin M. Jordan and Allyn Patten Jordan. Benjamin Jordan graduated from the Tuskegee Institute and worked in a local warehouse, but later became a pastor of the Goodwill Missionary Baptist Church, where the family long took part. Arlyne Jordan is a successful speaker. Barbara Jordan received education at the Houston Public School, and in 1952 graduated from Filithweetley High School. He received a bachelor's degree from Texas Southern University in 1956 and a legal degree in Boston University in 1959. In the same year she entered the bar in Massachusetts and Texas, and in 1960 he started practicing in Houston. Jordan graduated from Texas Southern University in 1956 and entered Boston University Law School. Three years later, Jordan got her law degree and became one of only two African-American women in her class. She returned to Houston through Massachusetts and the Texas bar and opened a law office in the fifth district. In Austin, I gained respect for my colleagues and worked hard to pass the state minimum wage law for farm workers. In the final year of the State Senate, Jordan's colleagues, according to the country's tradition on 10 June 1972, chose her president to allow her to serve as governor.

Barbara Jordan (1936-1996). Jordan is a lawyer, educator, politician and civil rights leader. She was the first African-American woman elected to the American House of Representatives, the first African-American woman who made a keynote speech at the Democratic National Convention. (Biography is recommended here.) Coretta Scott King (1927-2006). The wife and later heritage of Martin Luther King Jr. played an important role in protecting the legacy of civil rights leaders. After the assassination of 1968, she founded Martin Luther King Center for nonviolent social change. She later encouraged her husband's birthday and was considered a federal vacation.
