I came from my father by Jonathan Livingston Seagull. These texts are often mentioned, but I have never found a copy of the book. Recently, I (20 years old) went to the beach with my father, I saw a seagull there, and he began to remember the text again. This time when he brought the things in the book to my heart, this is the motivation for me to get a copy of my own Jonathan Livingstone Segal.
This novel is a story of Jonathan Livingstone who always challenges his herd tradition, aiming for the fastest seagull ever. Because of his action, he was exiled from the herd, but this did not break his spirit. Jonathan rose to a higher state and joined several other seagulls in search of speed. From here, Jonathan has returned to the seagull in order to achieve this paradise condition and to help them lead to the way of self improvement. Remember, this all happens in the process of 111 pages (most of them are pictures).
From the moment I opened the book, I fell in love. As a college student, when Bach's novel was first published, I can see why it was popular all over the world. The story of Jonathan Livingston Seagull is contagious, it is easy to cheer up. This is a modern allegory with a mere concept that imagines its high optimism and all obstacles - even death - on the way to self - completion in order to overwhelm the individual. The impact of this short story is so great that when setting up the text I will set it and think about it. For nearly an hour, I just sat in the bed and thought about how the story of the previously suggested idea, seagull touched deep inside my heart. This is pure magic, and in my body the book is almost not lit. After reading this book, I noticed that I downloaded a copy to my Kindle and made it accessible from anywhere at any time.
I sincerely believe that everyone can learn from this modern allegory. Like most books that can be classified as spiritual or moving, no one will suffer the same way. Some people may be naïve, but not Jonathan Livingston's story, but if you want to work harder and exceed the limits, Seagull will surely touch you.
Jonathan Livingston Segull's high optimism will lead you into a magical heart trip.
Some books can be linked to life. Jonathan Livingston Seagull of Richard Bach is that book. It shows beautifully the journey of the seagull, the leap of their faith, and the determination to go down a not far way. Most gulls are reluctant to learn more about the simplest flying facts - how to get back to the food from the coast. For most gulls, the important thing is not to fly but to eat. But for Jonathan Livingston Seagull, this is not an important meal, but a flight.
Written by Richard Bach Jonathan Livingston Seagull is a novel about a gull that learns to live and fly, a sermon about self-completion. It was first published as "Jonathan Livingston Seagull - a story" in 1970. As of the end of 1972, more than one million copies were published and Reader's Digest released a concise version that reached the top of the New York Times bestseller list. In 1972 and 1973, this book exceeded the list of American Publishers Weekly's best-selling novels. In 2014, this book was re-released as Jonathan Livingston Seagull: The Complete Edition, and the fourth part consisting of 17 pages was added to the story.
Richard Bach's novel, Jonathan Livingstone Segal, shows a struggle for Seagull who wants to get more lives. This is not just a fight for the name of Seagull Jonathan. This is the struggle most people face in life, regardless of whether they are facing adversity, or to achieve the goal. In order to achieve these goals, all these factors must be overcome.
