Our society is a network society, a society built around networks of individuals and organizations promoted by digital networks and transmitted over the Internet. Since the network is global, regardless of the borders, the network society is a global network society. This historical social structure arises from the interaction between a new technical paradigm based on the digital revolution and several large socio-cultural changes.
