This paper states that the composition style and diversity of John Updike made him one of the most talented writers of the post-modern movement. John Updike was born on 18 March 1932 in Reading, Pennsylvania (Academic School). Updike grew up with problems of psoriasis and stuttering, and when I was a child I felt solitude and loneliness (autonomy). The use of his painting as a workaround evoked an interest in manga (time) and his dream as a New Yorker (World Biography Encyclopedia) cartoonist.
A new problem occurred in the 20th century. Divorce between married couple became more intense than ever, divorce of the 20th century became a big concern. John Updike got interested in this topic and started writing this topic. He became one of the greatest writers of the 20th century. He wrote several great stories, but all his stories have one thing in common. Updike's story theme is all related to family relations, marriage, divorce. This theme is clearly visible in his three short films, son, still picture and some usage, and old awkward women.

Interest in writing John Updike began with instructions from his mother and she was also a prolific writer.
