John Milton: A View of Evil vs. Ignorance

Satan resembles Cromwell very much, because they are very ambitious to take over heaven and the UK. The main difference between Satan and Cromwell is the tyrant that they decided to defeat. John Milton divides the letters in his epic "Heaven's Lost" into two aspects. One represents God to represent goodness and the other represents Satan to express evil and sin.
