John Douglas was one of the famous criminals of the 20th century and was one of the first people to introduce forensic psychology into the FBI from the late 1970s to the early 1980s. John Douglas cooperated with offenders such as criminal Edmund Kemper and was admitted to the art of modern criminal profiling where ten people including grandparents and mothers were murdered. Douglas also had some conversations with notorious mass murderers Charles Manson and Richard Speck who were sentenced to the killing of eight nurses. The FBI's Behavior Science Bureau (BSU) was not held until Douglas cooperated with the serial killer. Today, John Douglas is a respected person, and in many cases it is still being asked for help.
